Particular days/events |
On the 4th March a front moving south brought heavy snow for an hour or so giving a level cover of 2cm. Once the front had cleared southwards the sunny conditions and slightly higher temperatures (despite the northerly wind) led to a rapid thaw of the snow. The middle of the month saw an early taste of summer with warm temperatures
and prolonged spells of sunshine Fog occurred on three mornings at 0900 on the 19th, 29th and 30th
|
Month as a whole |
After a cold start the month ended up being
warmer than the 1979-2000 long term average
