General Inference-A trough of low pressure down the North Sea and over extreme Southeast England is moving away slowly eastwards whilst a ridge of high pressure over western districts is intensifying and moving east. Weather will be generally fair apart from fog. Fog is expected to become fairly general tonight over England and Wales. Rain is expected in Ireland and Scotland tomorrow morning. It will be cold with hard frost in many districts tonight but will become milder in the North and West during tomorrow.
Further outlook-Rain in the West spreading East. Milder conditions spreading slowly southwards.
At 0600-Cloudy with rain rain in SE. Clearer skies in N and W with many places reporting fog.
Coldest place is Squires Gate on 21°F (-6.1°C) and the warmest is Hartland Point on 43°F (6.1°C).
